Empower Your Family
Empower your family! At Wilderness Trails, our Six Principle Philosophy—nature connection, nature conservation, self-sufficiency, personal development, empowerment, and conscious awareness—guides everything we do.
In this newsletter, we want to share how Empowerment will be part of your experience with us:
Empowerment is about more than just trying something new; it’s about discovering you can accomplish things you never imagined. Whether you’re tracking wildlife, cooking over an open fire, riding along mountain ridges, or reflecting on your life’s direction, the wilderness offers endless opportunities for learning, growth, and self-reliance. Each challenge you overcome with a positive mindset sets the foundation for your empowerment journey.
Empower your family
At our family guest ranch, we offer several unique ways your family can share responsibility, create memories, and learn new skills:
Accommodation and Add-On Activities:
Stay at our campground or in one of our log cabins, where your family can embrace the flexibility of doing your own activities and joining our family in our daily ranch life. This gives your family the chance to step into new roles and responsibilities. Whether you’re feeding chickens, collecting eggs, or tending the garden together, every small action is an opportunity to build skills and confidence.
Guided Wildlife tracking and conservation trips:
Whether you choose a ranch-based or backcountry adventure, horseback riding or hiking, every experience is designed to immerse your family in nature. Children quickly find themselves taking on meaningful responsibilities, like preparing the horses’ oats each morning and evening or packing water from the creek. Through these hands-on activities, every family member grows more confident and empowered.
All of our trips can be customized to your family’s interests (age restrictions may apply), so let us know your interests and we can tailor our wilderness experiences to your family’s skills, interests and goals for growth. Contact us for more information.
