Throughout the rest of your trip, take gradually longer or more challenging hikes. Learn about flora and fauna along the way and get involved in conservation projects such as species population counts, invasive species management and data collection to make your contribution to the wilderness you are benefitting from.

On your final full day, you have built on your hiking experience and skills and are now ready for a full day hike where you will hike through Douglas fir forests, break out into alpine meadows above tree line and hike to the mountain tops. Enjoy lunch in the alpine meadows where you can scout for grizzly and black bears, mule deer, mountain goats and maybe even a wolf. Spend the afternoon hiking back to the ranch, taking the opportunity to make the most of your nature connection.

On your final morning, live the ranch lifestyle as you learn how to do bareback riding, archery and biathlon target shooting or enjoy a final hike from the ranch before lunch with a last review of the week’s adventure.
